Obama's Administration/Troop Backup

Nine months since he's taken office,  about the same time it takes for a baby to reach full term.  We are being punished with the "baby."  Whose "baby" is this man?  George Soros? David Axelrod? Rahm Emanuel? Bill Ayers?  Saul Alinsky?  This man definitely is not "his own person."  That's easily discernible by listening to him speak.  I've not heard anything intelligent come from his mouth yet.

There is so much to say about this man, and so much to discuss when it comes to his policies.  So far, I've not seen any policies from him.  I've only seen legislation from the Democrat-controlled Congress.  I really don't believe the man knows how to govern.  There doesn't seem to be any input at all from his administration on the issues of health care reform and climate change.  He's only advocates from a position enjoyed by the far-left democrats.  I have seen him giving talks about doctors removing patient's legs to get more money, etc., but I've not seen any intelligent discussion about the issues.  He seems to only be able to reiterate "talking points" and they are not good talking points.

I'm not sure what more I can do to encourage my friends and family members to disconnect from the smooth-talking, jive-talking president.  All they see is a very good delivery in speech patterns which pulls them in, but they fail to "listen" to what he is saying.  They are only enamored with "HOW" he says it.  I guess following Bush II is a piece of cake for this guy when it comes to "fluff," but he fails to communicate what policy changes HE is making.  I guess, though, if the Democrat-controlled Congress is making all of the policy changes for him, there's no need for him to stand up and make sense.

Furthermore, what's up with the additional troops to Afghanistan?  Our military people are dying and he "wants to get it right."  Why can't he send the troops and then work on getting it right?  At least the military personnel who are requesting backup will actually receive backup instead of a "death sentence" from an incompetent president.  He can always pull the excess troops out later.  If the thin blue line operated like this, there sure would be a lot more police deaths!

I just don't understand, but pray everyday for our men and women in the military.

Pray for our Country.  We need some hope and guidance not from a mere mortal man, but from a higher source of power - that power is all of us banding together spiritually and protecting our military men and women and our Country from an incompetent, American bashing, power-hungry, wealth redistributor/socialist, smooth talking snakeoil salesman who will stop short at nothing of convincing us that a size 11 foot will fit into a size 6 shoe.

Privatize Medicare, Don't socialize "Everyones' Care"

The issue is the privatization of Medicare not socializing "everyones' care."  When government decides to bring back into the capitalist fold the millions that are now out of it, Medicare and Medicaid, then competitiveness will increase and prices will decline.  For the past 45 years, the government has been creating an artificial health care market, continuously driving up "private care" prices instead of taxes.  The reserve methodology used by the insurance industry has been completely distorted by the government's involvement in health care.  Who knows what reserves are needed?  It will especially get "pricey" when the baby boomers hit the Medicare rolls.  The younger generation will have to pay tax rates probably up to 60% and 70% not including state and local taxes.  We are headed for a depression that will be a lot worse than the "great depression."  This one will be the "technology decreased" depression and millions of lives lost. This is what happens when the government does what our framers did not intend for it to do.

The 1934 Social Security Act's sole purpose was to raise revenue.  They passed it under the disguise of helping "old sick and disabled people."  They were able to use the revenue raised through taxes for 75 years - not caring whether or not they had it available to pay out when the time came for the baby boomers.  The Supreme Court has ruled that SS and Medicare are not "insurance programs" and the citizens have no legal claim on their benefits; the benefits are solely at the discretion of the Congress.

It will be the same with health care reform.  It will be a "revenue raising or enhancement act" and our premiums will go to the government instead of the insurers.  Then, when they can't raise taxes any higher, services will be restricted, reduced, or outlawed.  It takes approximately 2.5 years to obtain social security disability; how long will it take to obtain a heart stent or bypass? If ever.  The government's obligations are clearly laid out in the Constitution, but our politicians refuse to follow it calling it a "living, breathing document" subject to "society's changes and whims."  Yes.  We'll see changes in our society, but they cannot be positive ones and they will be at the "whim" of politicians.  When we're all dissatisfied, where will we go?  At least with the private market, you have choices.  With the government market, you only have taxes and death.
